Brief History
ClearThink, Inc., engages in custom programming projects and developing graphical user interface (GUI) for a cross platform event-driven C++ GUI framework.
One Qlarity® project included development of an application which communicates with an embedded Linux application over a serial or Ethernet link, verifies the data and resends if necessary.
In addition to using the basic QSI controls, template inheritance was used to create custom objects. A special message router was designed to abstract how and when messages are delivered to the client code. The application also supports on-the-fly switching between Spanish and English and between metric and imperial units. Context sensitive help was also developed.
QSI's command-line complier and the Linux makefile utility were used to compile the applications. A custom BFF downloader was created to download applications.
