QSI Announces The QTERM®-K60 Graphical Operator Interface / Mobile Data Terminal.

Salt Lake City, Utah. 05 March 1997. The QTERM-K60 Graphical mobile data terminal is a low cost, rugged, operator interface for industrial applications. Features of this terminal include a 240 × 128 lighted, supertwist, graphics LCD, wide-temperature operation, communications of up to 57,600 baud, a speaker that can be controlled in pitch and duration, and twelve lighted soft keys. The QTERM-K60 is available as a pedestal-mount unit with an EIA-232, EIA-422 or J1708 interface.

The object-oriented software, Visual Terminal Protocol™ (VTP), makes programming the QTERM-K60 quick and easy. VTP contains pre-defined objects such as gauges, lines, boxes, text, VT-52, touch keys, bitmaps and fonts which make complex screens easy to design. VTP allows graphics and animation to be used even with low-bandwidth communication links.
