QSI Announces The QTERM®-K65 Panel-mount Graphical Human Machine Interface with Touch Screen.
Salt Lake City, Utah. 10 August 1998. The QTERM-K65 graphical operator interface terminal is a low cost, NEMA-4 human machine interface for industrial applications. Features of this terminal include: 240 × 128 lighted graphic LCD, object-oriented software, resistive touch screen that allows keys on or around the display, 512 Kbytes of flash memory for program and screen storage, temperature sensor and automatic contrast adjustment for use in changing environments. The QTERM-K65 is available with an EIA-232 or EIA-422 interface. Full-color customization of the key and logo legend is also available.
The object-oriented software, Visual Terminal Protocol™ (VTP), makes programming the QTERM-K65 quick and easy. VTP contains pre-defined objects such as gauges, lines, boxes, text, VT-52, touch keys, bitmaps and fonts which make complex screens easy to design. VTP allows graphics and animation to be used even with low-bandwidth communication links.
