08 December 1999: QSI Announces The QTERM®-W85 — Industrial Computer Running Windows® CE Operating System.
Salt Lake City, Utah. The QTERM-W85 Industrial Computer runs the Windows® CE operating system. Based on the MIPS core, the QTERM-W85 is engineered to run cooler, with less power, and to take advantage of Windows CE's simplicity and power. The user can run off-the-shelf software or write his/her own programs using familiar languages including Microsoft® C++, J++ and Visual Basic.
