Product Resources

Applications developed for the G70 can easily be adapted for the G75 when a larger display is called for. Our ability to leverage in-house experience with QSI's Qlarity Foundry development platform allow us to use the G70 and G75 over a wide range of applications.

Operator Interface Hardware

  • VGA 640×480 pixels, lighted, TFT color graphic LCD display measuring 264 mm (10.4") diagonal. (An enhanced TFT display is available as an option).
  • Module with display, CPU board, touch screen and mounting bracket is available for integration into your panel.
  • Resistive touch screen and soft keys for user input. Touch keys can be placed on or around the display area. Optional PS/2 keyboard / keypad interface.
  • Ethernet 10/100Base-T interface available as an option. Supports TCP/IP, Modbus™ and other protocols.
  • Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) (IEEE 802.3af) option - Provide communications and power over a standard CAT5 Ethernet cable. A great way to reduce your installation costs and increase your flexibility. Requires a PoE-compatible hub/switch.
  • 8 Mbytes of flash memory with 32 Mbytes RAM (standard) or 4 Mbytes of flash memory with 16 Mbytes RAM (PoE). Flash memory contains the firmware, user applications and file space.
  • EIA-232, EIA-422 or EIA-485 serial interface. Second EIA-232, -422 or -485 port available.
  • 400 MHz Intel® XScale™ processor (standard) or 200 MHz Intel® XScale™ processor (PoE).
  • Make the terminal part of your product with a custom legend and company logo.
  • Industrially hardened to operate in many environmental conditions and meets NEMA-4 specifications for hose-down, icing and salt spray when mounted properly. CE Certified.
  • Optional manufacturer's ID code to protect your development investment.
  • Speaker and real-time clock.

HMI / Software Firmware

  • Qlarity® - Object-based programming language makes application design easy for all user levels.
  • Design with pre-defined objects, edit current objects or design new objects for your application.
  • Qlarity Foundry® - Windows® programming environment for screen design and integration. Qlarity Foundry is available as a free download.

Qlarity Object-based Programming

Qlarity (pronounced "Clarity") is an object-based programming language designed by QSI Corporation for our intelligent graphic operator interface terminals. This BASIC-like, scripted, graphic terminal programming language uses objects to display information on the screen, accept user input and communicate with other devices. Other standard programming features such as conditional logic (IF-ELSE), looping (WHILE, FOR-NEXT) and a rich set of logical and arithmetic operators are also provided.

Qlarity Foundry

Qlarity Foundry offers an integrated design environment for the Qlarity Language. This PC-based software (Windows® 9x, 2000, ME, NT, XP) assists in developing screens and applications for Qlarity-based graphic operator interface and mobile data terminals. Qlarity Foundry allows you to easily use objects to create screens, simulate functionality on your PC, debug the program and download applications to your graphic terminal.
